We have been trying to create out a workable layout for the house. Simon has been hard at it with 3D Home Designer, a tape measure and the Screwfix catalogue! That is one useful resource - it has sizes and dimensions for all sorts of fixtures and fittings, from toilets to patio doors.

The only problem is that we keep being sidetracked by colouring the walls in in lurid 1970's patterns and sniggering like schoolchildren - I think this must be some sort of displacement activity...

By the end of this week we ought to have cracked it though!
